Xaloc and Miquel Servet students innovate with virtual and augmented reality to enhance vocational education.

Students from Xaloc’s Electrical Installations and Maintenance program, together with those from the Healthcare program at Miquel Servet Study Center, participated in the FP Challenge, a challenge promoted by Suara Cooperativa to integrate immersive technologies into vocational training.

The goal was to explore how virtual and augmented reality can improve practical training and better prepare students for the challenges of the labor market. Participants proposed innovative solutions, analyzing the advantages and challenges of these technological tools.

During the challenge, students worked in multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions such as virtual environments for healthcare training and the use of augmented reality to facilitate equipment repair and maintenance.

In addition to exploring these technologies, students discussed challenges related to equipment, accessibility, and teacher training.

The FP Challenge has demonstrated the potential of virtual and augmented reality in vocational training, reaffirming Xaloc’s commitment to educational innovation.
